We are a group of gender diverse buddhists in the Triratna Buddhist Community who offer events, study, advice, friendship, training and awareness resources for gender diverse people and the wider Triratna movement.
The Gender Diverse Project Group are order members in the Triratna Buddhist Order, who work together to coordinate activities, which are led by them or others.

Dayakarini

Hi my name is Dayakarini (they/them), I’m from the Birmingham Sangha. I’m non binary and I’m a regional order convenor for the Midwest region. I am in the gender diverse group/chapter.

Jnanamitra
PROJECT TEAM
Jnanamitra (she/her) was ordained in 1991 - she made contact with the fwbo in January 1977, attending her first meditation class in the afternoon, and made her first visit to a gender diverse support group in the evening of the same day. She moved to help the fledgling Buddhist group In Ipswich in 1992. She is committed to the Dharma being available to all people.

Kamalanandi
CO-TRAINER for Gender Diversity training
Kamalanandi (he/him) is part of the Buddhafield Sangha where he holds multiple roles, some paid some voluntary. He is a father to two teenagers and also has his own furniture making business. He has been a buddhist since 1999 and was ordained in 2013.

Nagakusala

Nagakusala (they/them) is Chair of Leeds Buddhist Centre, ordained in 2019 having accidentally re-discovered Buddhism at Buddhafield East in 2009. I would describe myself as non-binary. I am polyamourous. My favourite Bhante quote is the closing paragraph of "Know Your Mind".

Pasadini (they/them) was ordained in 2010 in the Santa Cruz Mountains in California. They currently live in Glasgow, where they work building community equity and inclusion. Their passion is helping others discover their strength/resilience/spiritual home through creative somatic-based play.

Shraddhasiddhi

Shraddhasiddhi (he/him) has been practising Buddhism and meditation since 2001 and was ordained in 2012. He lives in London, UK, and currently teaches and organises the LGBTQIA+ events at the London Buddhist Centre. He loves travel, film, and cinema and regularly swims in a heated outdoor pool.
